youthbuild members pledge
"We the members of Ulster YouthBuild, pledge to be positive role models and strong leaders, to become respected citizens in our community, and raise the level of consciousness of others. We pledge to focus on our educational goals and
work together as a team to rebuild the neighborhood. This we will do with appreciation, pride, determination and commitment."
Our mission at Ulster YouthBuild is to provide young adults between the ages of 16-24 with a safe, healthy and supportive environment allowing them to rebuild their lives and move forward in a more positive direction. Ulster YouthBuild gives young adults a second chance to earn their High School Diploma, learn leadership and life skills and receive occupational skills training in housing construction.
We are a comprehensive job training, educational, leadership development, and community development program offering several different life skills and certifications you can earn throughout our 6 month program.
We at Ulster YouthBuild strongly believe that if people are provided with the right tools, positive role models and opportunity, they can transform their lives and their communities.
THIS IS MORE THAN JUST A JOB
At Ulster YouthBuild we bring young people from diverse life experiences together to learn, work hard, and grow in service to the community, the environment, and their own development.
